Haute Interview: Personal Shopper/ Fashion Stylist Kristie Jorfald Talks Trends, Best Brands, and Empowering Women!

Personal Shopper/ Fashion Stylist: Kristie Jorfald

Kristie Jorfald is a multifaceted personal shopper and fashion stylist whose work is notable across multiple media platforms. Some of Jorfald’s credits include: Assistant Wardrobe Stylist on the Style Network’s “How Do I Look?” (Season 12), Freelance Fashion Stylist for Paper Magazine and Edge Magazine, and Assistant Wardrobe Stylist on “Detention” – a Joseph Kahn film.

So, yes, it’s awesome to feature Jorfald in Good Girl Gone Shopping’s first Haute Interview of 2016! From describing her favorite personal shopping client to giving major shout-outs to designers and brands she can always count on for fabulous fashion items, Kristie Jorfald has a unique perspective on trends and style. Enjoy!

With 2016 currently in effect and fashion is providing us more and more options each season, what are some of the trends that are really catching your eye this year?

I’m so flipping excited to see metallic making its way back for fall! Bring on the fringe, 70s boho chic inspiration, pleated dresses/skirts, sequin floral prints, lightweight denim, halfmoon cross body bags, lingerie slip dresses, and blown-out plaid!

What about the fashion trends of 2015? Is there a look that you hope most women will finally let go?

Yes! I’m so over the cut-out dresses and stacked rings. They all need to go!

You have an extensive background in personal shopping and styling, so I can imagine how many different personalities you’ve assisted. What type of client excites you the most when it comes to helping him or her find that perfect outfit?

My absolute favorite clients to work with are the women that don’t believe in shopping and don’t understand that personal style is connected to their personality. I love teaching my clients how to shop for their shape and how to build self-confidence skills through wardrobe styling. It’s an incredible feeling to see your clients come back to you after your shopping session to show you their new looks they’ve put together on their own, when they share compliments from their friends and coworkers on their new looks, or when they refer you to others. It’s really a combination of seeing their happiness and self-confidence shine in a different light. I feel so lucky to have met and worked with such incredible women!

Personal Shopper/ Fashion Stylist: Kristie Jorfald
Do you believe that there is a difference between “shopping cheap” and “shopping on a budget”…?

Yes – it’s all based on having a good eye and rich taste.

How would you describe your personal style?

Romantic, chic, and edgy. I love my super girly and flirty looks, however, you will most likely catch me wearing all black any given day…with lots of leather and lace.

What do you feel are the biggest misconceptions people have regarding the fashion industry?

I’ve heard too many people say “It’s so fabulous and easy, anyone could do it.”

What are some of the fashion designers or brands that you can always count on for fabulous pieces for your clients?

Oscar de la Renta will never let you down on the red carpet. DL1961 are the best jeans a woman can own. Everyone should have a black Theory blazer in their closet. A Burberry Kensington heritage trench coat is a must. Nicole Miller makes the perfect cocktail dress – she really understands a woman’s body shape. Stuart Weitzman makes comfortable and beautiful boots and pumps, which are also a personal favorite. More bang for your buck – Banana Republic always has some great jewelry finds, Zara for coats and shoes, Luxury Garage Sale for one-of-a-kind pieces, and Sandro and Maje for that everyday sophisticated look.

The 3 items that every women should own:

A leather jacket, trench coat, black leather pants, patent nude pumps, black blazer – oops that’s more than 3!

Interview with Katie Maloney of 'Vanderpump Rules': "It's been a wild ride to say the least!"

(Katie Maloney/Photo Credit: Brooke Mason)
"Vanderpump Rules" -- the drama-packed Reality TV show built on British restaurateur and Beverly Hills Housewife, Lisa Vanderpump -- has grown to be one of my fave guilty pleasures on Bravo. The show basically gives viewers a taste of what occurs among the servers, bartenders, and hostesses at West Hollywood's SUR (one of Lisa's restaurants). But really, this show is a heavy meal of friendship and relationship woes, wins, and WTFs.

And this season, a lot of the outspokenness (which has entailed tears as well as kind-hearted forgiveness) comes from Katie Maloney. As compared to the first two seasons of Vanderpump Rules, we're getting to know more of the Reality TV star's personality. She is much more than just Stassi's friend and the chick who got criticized for dyeing her hair "orange." In our recent interview, Katie not only talks about her experience on Vanderpump Rules and Reality TV as a whole; co-founder of Pucker & Pout, a beauty and style website designed to inspire, gives insight to her view on healthy relationships, her "neo goth" personal style, and just why a statement jacket is a must-have. Oh, and did I mention that she's a Gwen-lover as well?  Yup...Katie my kind of girl!

What has been your experience on Vanderpump Rules been like thus far?
It's been a wild ride to say the least. It's been really fun and always really taxing both mentally and emotionally. This was an experience I couldn’t prepare myself for, but I feel like I have taken everything in stride and really grown through all my experiences on the show.
The show is so interwoven with relationship “drama.” Has becoming a Reality TV star altered your perception on the concept of a healthy relationship?
I was nervous about putting my relationship out there. It's obviously something sacred to me and I want to protect it. I feel like Tom and I have really grown closer and stronger through this all. We might not have a perfect, drama-free relationship but we definitely have a strong one and contrary to what people might think based on what they’ve seen, we do have a healthy relationship. Of course we have had bumps and messed up along the way but what remains is our bond. What goes on with us behind closed doors is important and should not be overlooked.

(Katie Maloney/Photo Credit: Brooke Mason)
It’s been said that not only could Reality TV harm a real relationship, but that social media has the potential to damage one. What are your thoughts on that?
I don't think anything besides the two people in the relationship could damage it. Of course the show and social media can strain the relationship. However the only two people accountable for the relationship and its integrity are the ones involved. Tom and I have a healthy perspective on social media and the show so we don't let the negativity infiltrate what we have.
I understand that you balanced theater and cheerleading in high school while working with a local agency to book commercial shoots and hosting work at an early age. Did you ever envision yourself as a regular on one of Bravo TV’s hit shows?
I never dreamed of ever doing a reality show. Reality TV has changed so much over the recent years and I feel like it was a twist of fate getting my job at SUR 5 years ago and I regret nothing.
How much is the line blurred between your real life and Reality TV? Or, do you consider these entirely separate entities?
The line is very-much-so blurred. After all, these are my real friends and I really work at SUR and all the drama that occurs is organic. There's no pretending. When we aren't filming, we still carry on the same way. Obviously sometimes, thanks to editing, some things are sensationalized and they put heavy focus on certain topics for dramatic purposes but that doesn't mean it didn't happen or that it wasn't real.
What do you love most about being on Vanderpump Rules?
It's a surreal thing living your life out in front of the cameras. We have had so much fun on our trips and also had some shitty times too. I'm happy to share these moments with the people I'm closest too. I feel extremely lucky to be a part of this show.
What do you like the least?
It's more difficult than I can describe what it is like to experience heart break and personal intimate moments while filming. It's not like "real life" where if something traumatic happens (i.e., your boyfriend admitting he has cheated on you) you can retreat and take personal time. You have to share every moment, talking about how you feel and share what's going on inside your head. These are the times that it really takes a toll on you.

(Katie Maloney/Photo Credit: Brooke Mason)
Pucker & Pout is such a great resource for women who could use some tips in a variety of areas. When did you realize, “It’s time for a website!”…?
Pucker & Pout embodies so much of who I am. I have always shared the products I love or little tips and tricks with my girlfriends, and the response has always been great. Obviously I have accumulated a strong following on my social media so I thought to myself what an amazing idea to create a space where I share my beauty knowledge. It's been such a fun and inspirational experience and the response has been incredible.
How would you describe your own personal style?
I guess it could be described as slightly "neo goth." I tend to gravitate towards darker clothes and edgier pieces but I still have trendy elements. I would rather wear kicks or boots than heels. I love androgynous with a feminine twist style. I'm a lipstick-with-shades and a leather jacket kind of chick. Gwen Stefani is definitely my fave style icon!
Scenario: A woman is on a budget with $50 bucks and needs to update her style. What items do you think she should focus on first?
I would say hone in on one piece that is versatile. A statement jacket that can be worn with a pair of jeans and kicks but could as be thrown over a LBD. Or a slick pair of pants or pencil skirt. Focus on something that suits you and what's already in your closet that you can mix, match and layer with!

Katie rules! To keep up the Reality TV star, be sure to follow her on Twitter and Instagram!

Well, Well, Well...If It Ain't September!

If you're an 8-5'er, I hope you're enjoying your day away from the office (It's Labor Day!). If you're a freelance professional, may you be able to carve out a little extra time to smell the coffee or go for a walk. And if you're both - working around the clock (like many of us are!) - may you find extra inspiration simply by being YOU. Currently, I'm transcribing my recent interview I had last weekend with a lovely fashion stylist. Yup - I'm feeling joy in my chosen path.

There's just something about the beginning of a new month that excites us! Something about a new month that offers us the chance to analyze our wardrobes and determine if our items are doing us justice. There's just something about having (what feels like) a do-over...

Surprise me, September! Let's see what you have in store.

Gregori Lukas: The Stylish 'Stay' Singer Embraces Both Fashion and Music

(Gregori Lukas/ Michelle Babyak Photography)

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Gregori Lukas, an American singer, dancer, and actor who lives for fashion. Our interview will be coming soon to Agenda Magazine, and naturally, I have to give you a heads-up! Gregori has appeared with the New York City Ballet in numerous productions and is best known for playing the title role in George Balanchine's Nutcracker at the New York State Theater. Currently, he is working towards finishing up his upcoming EP by Summer 2014, striving to embark on modeling, and looking forward to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York this September. No stranger to runway shows, Gregori's been attending Fashion Week since 2008, when it was still "Olympus Fashion Week" in Bryant Park.

I encourage you to download his single, "Stay," a beautiful song about the heart-wrenching experience of one's first love ("I never thought it wasn't real..."). The piano version of his ballad can also be downloaded for free on MTV.com. Simply lovely. Also, be sure to visit his website to learn some more about this fabulous, stylish entertainer!

My Run-In With Pop-Punk Princess Eryn Woods During New York Fashion Week!

(Me and Pop-Punk Princess Eryn Woods!)

It was ultra freezing during (my first trip to) New York. I mean, ridiculous chilly. Like 22 degrees and below. (I actually left before it got unbearable, I've heard.) But that didn't stop the fiery explosion of this week-long east coast event! One of my memorable moments was in the lobby of Studio 450 on West 31st Street. As a bunch of us guests for the Darkoh show piled into the lobby of Studio 450, shivering and happy to get inside somewhere warm, I had the pleasure of watching pop-punk princess Eryn Woods come in from the cold looking ultra-fab. I originally saw this style queen walk the runway for Tumbler & Tipsy during one of last year's Project Ethos events, and wow...I was blown away by her confidence, charisma, and insane sense of unique style! Totally ironic that I ran into her in New York, because I've always meant to contact her and request an interview in LA. So perfect timing for me to introduce myself, request that interview, and score this awesome photo. For some exciting fashion and music inspiration, check out her website, follow her on Twitter and Instagram, and stay tuned for my interview on Agenda Magazine!

My Interview with Jewelry Designer Lydia McLaughlin -- Entrepreneur and Ex-OC Housewife!

(The sparkling Lydia McLaughlin!)

Yes, Lydia McLaughlin from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" is as down-to-earth as she appears on television! In my exclusive interview with the now Ex-OC Housewife (by choice), the mother of two as well as co-founder and managing editor of one of California's most high-end luxury publications - Beverly Hills Lifestyle -- we get the goods. Granddaughter of the founder of NTV, the largest privately held multi-media company in Canada, Lydia talks about her love for fashion, her new, limited-edited handcrafted jewelry line LYDIA M Jewelry, the importance of feeling unique and beautiful, and how she held her own as a regular on one of the hottest shows to hit Bravo TV.

Having kept up with “The Real Housewives of Orange County” since its beginning, I have to say it’s so nice to be able to have the chance to speak with you because you appear so kind and down-to-earth. Also, it’s interesting to learn about the entrepreneurship that runs in your family…

It’s always fun to talk to someone too that knows a little bit about you, so that’s good!

OK, I’m excited to pick your brain about being a jewelry designer.  When did you start designing?

Well, I’ve always really been into fashion. When I was in high school, I would always wear necklaces in my hair and do things that I thought were super cool. I’ve always been interested in it, and then when my husband and I started our magazine, Beverly Hills Lifestyle, five years ago, I got to be on all these photo shoots and I was meeting other designers and other fashion people – I got to go in to all these showrooms. And I realized, 'Wow, they’re just people who are living out their dreams. So I could do it too.' So in a lot of ways, that gave me the confidence and the connection to meet with people so I could ask how they make a necklace and where do I get the products to put together a jewelry line. Like ‘I love these kinds of earrings, so how could I implement that?’ So I started doing the research for it, basically five years ago, and then I partnered up with a jeweler two years ago.

"Pandora Bangles" by LYDIA M Jewelry

So since you started, how do you feel now? Do you feel like “OK, I got this. This is my new calling”…?

As far as “I got this”...For me, when I feel like that, then I’m ready to move on with something. I’m into the challenge of learning, and I always like changing and evolving, so I do not feel like I’ve got this. I feel like it’s really exciting and I love it, and I love learning more. The first line we did was all with gold. I love sparkle and gold, and I love working with that material. So I think I’m still learning, and there’s so much to learn. This is just the beginning. As far as feeling like this is my calling, it’s  definitely something that I love. We have a bunch of other businesses and bunch of other ventures, but I’m definitely putting a lot of love and energy into it...I don’t think I’m finished yet – I’m only 32.

It’s great to know that you’re really getting in there, and it’s still new!

Yeah, I’m still growing as a jewelry designer and I’m still learning the ropes. Right now, you can get it on my website, www.lydiamjewelry.com. I’m really passionate about making the jewelry, making what I would like to wear, and perfecting the products. We are also at one store ("Treasures") at the Montage in Laguna Beach. We really haven’t pursued yet getting it in a bunch of stores. One day I would love to have my line in Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus, and stores like that. But all of that takes so much time, so we haven’t expanded yet or really pursued that. We’re mainly offering it on my website, and that’s working and being really successful right now. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll have another line and…I’ll take over the world!

I wouldn’t doubt that!

Right now, I’m comfortable where I am.

Besides designing for yourself and what you would like to wear, what type of woman do you envision wearing your jewelry?

You know, honestly, they are really versatile pieces.  And so, you can wear it to a play date with your kids at the park, and then you can wear it to dinner, and then you can wear it to a board meeting. I like to put it on in the morning, and kinda go through the day. It fits my lifestyle. I think it’s good for all sorts of women. At the mall, I’ve had younger girls come up to me wearing it. They probably were in high school, and they were wearing my hoop earrings. It was like their big Sweet Sixteen birthday present or something, and that was really cool to see that. And also, I wear my jewelry – my bangles – on the red carpet all the time. So it really is for anyone that likes sparkle and gold.

"Calypso Ring" by LYDIA M Jewelry

I love that your jewelry has a vintage feel!

It actually is modeled after that. I found a bunch of vintage brooches and old pins, and since those are one of a kind, I really wanted to find things that looked like those original vintage clips that I found.

How involved are you with the creation of each piece?

It’s all handmade in Orange County, so yes, every piece I have touched for sure. I’m not in my bedroom working on it, from 9 to 9. We have people that are doing that, but I’m really involved. Like I said, I see every piece and I touch every piece, and I make sure that I would wear it and it’s exactly up to par to what I had envisioned.

As for starting the line and being involved in the process of creating it, have there been some challenges that you had to overcome?

Well, maybe a challenge was just with being on the Real Housewives [of Orange County], you don’t get to control what they show. So I was kind of bummed that they didn’t show a really cool photo shoot at the beach and that I had met with my jewelry designer…And they didn’t put that in as part of my story.

That is a total bummer! That would have been amazing to watch…

But I think the show likes to show the drama or a challenge a lot of times, and it was just like, “Wow, here she is designing, and here she is at the beautiful beach with models.” I think if I had maybe got in a fight with someone, it would have made the cut! [laughs] I think in one of the scenes Vicki says “Oh, what do you do? You’re a jewelry designer?” After that, you could see orders coming in across the country. That’s how powerful the show is...or, maybe that’s just how awesome my jewelry is! [laughs] Imagining if people were to see those scenes, it would have made it more interesting. So that was a challenge. You never know what they’re gonna do.

("Hero Bracelet" by LYDIA M Jewelry)

Well, I’m sure the exposure still feels really good from being on the show…

Oh my gosh! I’m so grateful for the opportunity, honestly. It’s a wonderful platform, and it’s so humbling. If I hadn’t done the show, I never would have 16 year old girls coming up to me at the mall when I’m with my kids, like “Hey, I’m wearing your earrings! Can I get a picture?” And that a thousand percent has to do with the Housewives, and only because I was a housewife. So I definitely don’t take that for granted.

I'd say it's apparent that many “reality stars” have made that life their path. But you have really created your own empire – your own life. So it’s really exciting to hear about this jewelry line!

Thank you, I appreciate that. I think the producers were interested in me because I do have my own stuff. Like we have our own magazine and I have the jewelry line, and we have a lot going on in our lives. And I think sometimes people become reality stars, and then they get to do those things because of the show. It was good for me, because I could just be myself and I didn’t need to play into it in any way. And I could walk away at any minute – and I did walk away. So it was freeing for me, because I didn’t need the show. And I think if you really need it, you’re more willing to compromise some things…

I really respect that. Thank you for sharing. As for the cost of your jewelry collection, what is the current price range?

Everything is basically under $400, and it’s starting at $50. It’s a pretty wide range; we sell rings that are around $150 and earrings around $100, and necklaces are about $300 – it just depends. We’re releasing two necklaces for Christmas, which are more affordable for a present…which is really cool. Also, there was a headband with a little bling that I wore a lot on the show, so I made my own which is really cool that I’ve been wearing. I’m gonna roll that out also on the website.

So exciting! You know I started Good Girl Gone Shopping in 2007, where it was just about finding everything on sale and that you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on things. Now, it’s turned into a bit more of interviewing designers and getting into the inspiration and providing tips. So now, it’s not just about finding things that are cheap, it’s about quality as well…

That’s cool. Yeah, my jewelry is handmade and they’re gold, and it’s gold filled, not gold-plated.  I have super-sensitive skin, so I wanted to make the nicest, best stuff. And so they really are pieces that will last. They are really lightweight, and so you forget you’re wearing them. Like my bangles, I sleep in them sometime when I forget to take them off. They have that pop of bling, and it’s really comfortable jewelry. I hate wearing those earrings that at the end of the day, you just can’t wait to take them off. And mine, you just forget that you’re wearing them until someone compliments you.

(Supermom Lydia with the fam!)

So it sounds like your line is a balance of comfort, chic wear, and quality…

Yeah, that’s how I am. I love fashion...I love being cute and expressing myself and how I’m feeling….and being kind of quirky through my clothes. But I really like comfort, and I always tend to wear the pair of jeans that are the most comfortable. So, you know, I think jewelry is the same way.

I agree! And I do see some statement styles from your collection too.

Definitely. I have some dainty pieces, but a lot of them are the rock star piece. It’s like yeah, you put that ring on, and your statement piece for sure, which is fun.

My last question: What type of emotional benefits would you want a woman to gain from wearing your jewelry?

I just want her to feel beautiful and to know that she’s unique.  I think today, in American culture, in society…There’s a very certain sense of beauty…that you should look a certain way. But I think that we’re all unique and special, and that nothing about us is a mistake. I think that if you put on a little extra bling and it makes you feel beautiful, then my work here is done.

I love that. What a great quote!

Also, 10 percent of everything goes to isanctuary, which is a non-profit jewelry line. They hire women that have ben rescued from human trafficking to make all their jewelry. So we give back to them and contribute to their whole slogan, which is “Purchase with a Purpose.” Their stuff is really affordable; a lot of it is like under 20 bucks, and on the back [of the pieces] it’s been signed by the woman who made the jewelry. She’s been a victim of human trafficking and has been rescued.

VoteKinsey.com! ('Cause She Says So!)

Kinsey Schofield. My, this chick is on fire! She's a smiley, doggy-lovin' social media strategist and TV commentator you gotta keep on your radar. The stylishly nationally recognized (and hilarious!) personality was listed #25 in The 100 Greatest Women in Social Media, has more than 100K followers on Twitter, and is a fabulous celeb interviewer. Kinsey made her television debut alongside celebrities like P. Diddy, 50 Cent, and The Kardashians while starring on E!’s event planning competition series, Party Monsters.

OK, so right now, Kinsey is competing for the title of "Most Fashionable" for Arizona Foothills Magazine. According to the comedic campaigner, "If I win, I will be featured in their 'Best Of' issue, and I'd love the opportunity!" Kinsey most definitely is working her arse off to get this title. Just check out some of her campaign pics below, which I took from her Instagram profile! So why not spread the word and help out my social media friend? I've got nothing but love for her ambition. As a writer and social media professional myself, I truly dig her personality. She's, like, real. Hence, her clever campaign antics and being kind enough to take the time to answer my 7 interview questions (see below).

(Stickers galore!!)

So here's how to vote for Kinsey: Go to www.VoteKinsey.com and register. You will receive an email in your inbox with your password. Then log in, click the circle next to "Kinsey Schofield" enter the code at the bottom (to prove you're a human), and then click the "VOTE" button. And when you're done, tweet Kinsey at @kinseyschofield so she can personally thank you!

My TOP 7 Fun Fashion Questions for Kinsey Schofield:

If you could raid any celeb's closet...Who would it be?

Patricia Field! She has the most unbelievable eye for fierce and funky. I find myself envious of all of the characters she dresses and she inspires me to wear my tutu to the dog park!

What is your favorite fashion trend?

I noticed a slew of fierce flats at NYFW this year and I was beyond relieved. I look tragic when I walk in heels for long periods of time. I've had multiple Britney moments where I'm hopping barefoot around Downtown Los Angeles trying to get to a shoot. So I would say, feeling sexy and confident in flats. Knowing I'm not going to fall on my face or be taller than all of the cute boys.

(Dear Obama...)

What style do you think looks bad on every woman and should be avoided at all costs?

I think we all have that single friend that wonders why she's single or isn't treated well by men, and you're like, "Because you don't dress appropriately." There is a time and place for cleavage and lace... You can be as sexy in a peacoat as you can be in a bikini! I guess the answer is: desperation.

Your favorite fashion designer?

DVF. I'm curvy so I've spent more time than I care to relive being disappointed in a dressing room. DVF is reliable, timeless, and trendy. I know when I need an outfit for a specific occasion or event, that I will find something that makes me feel confident within the DVF collection. When it comes to street wear, I live in Chaser Brand tanks and Black Milk leggings.

Your most treasured item in your closet?

My leather jacket from TOPSHOP. I never get to wear it when I'm in Arizona (Hot, Hot Heat!), but whenever I'm in LA, I wear it religiously! And sadly I pack it with me wherever I go. It's a pathetic kind of love.

What do you think all women should own at least one of?

Isn't it amazing what a red lip can do to you and your outfit? Completely shake up a plain white tee and some boyfriend jeans with a red lip or dramatize your basic LBD with the addition. I think owning MAC's Russian Red is an absolute necessity!

If you win "Most Fashionable"...Which social media site will you hit first?!

OMG. What a cute question, it made me smile. ...Still smiling... Instagram is my favorite, but Twitter is the most attentive! So, I'd have to say that Twitter will be the first to know!

Thanks Kinsey! Good luck! xoxo

Aster Magazine: A Visual Index That Inspires

Aster Magazine, an ezine that offers both visual and intellectual stimulation, recently interviewed me! Not only am I proud to share that such a fabulous online publication decided to feature me (Justine, the endearing writer who accompanied me to meet Steve Madden, did a phenomenal job!), I am proud to introduce you to Aster Magazine due to its unique concept and approach towards all that is art. And yes, that naturally includes fashion.

Initially launching as a magazine that featured artists who directly engaged with Aster, this mag has grown into a full-fledged work of art in itself. The focus on creativity is evident in that it "includes professional works in lifestyle, fashion, art, design, photography, music, architecture and other mediums," while showing an appreciation for those behind the processes. So you can imagine my delight in being asked for an interview, considering the inspiring direction and philosophy of this magazine.

Being recognized as a professional personal shopper and fashion blogger is totally fulfilling -- an experience that I, the Good Girl Gone Shopping, will never forget.

Tyra Banks -- Your Favorite Fashionable Talk Show Host

You voted, and according to majority, Tyra Banks is the most fashionable talk show host! The runner-up was Chelsea Handler. Oprah, Ellen, and Bonnie Hunt trailed in the votes. Because the majority of you range between ages 18 - 35, I believe that age does play a role in how you view what is trendy and fashion fashionable, however. (My 60-year old mom adores Bonnie Hunt and loves how she casually wears hoodies on camera.)

So here are some fun pics featuring the winner, also "America's Next Top Model" queen creator and former Victoria's Secret model, from tidbits of her daytime talk show, "Tyra."

Which would YOU feel most comfortable wearing on camera?

BlogTalkRadio Interview #2 -- "Fabulous Fashions for Under $100"

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES BEGINNING OF SHOW - STAY TUNED.

'Good Girl Gone Shopping' goes LIVE again tonight at 7 p.m PAC time. I was first interviewed on BlogTalkRadio with Barbara Howard ("The Recipe Box") last month, early September.

We had such a fun time chit-chatting; so much that Barbara asked that I come back to provide more tips and insight to shopping on a budget and Fall fashion. (Originally, I was supposed to appear Oct. 17th, but various projects got me frazzled! Barbara was kind to let me reschedule.)

Oh, and I will be doing a giveaway on tonight's show [Hint: Shoe Smitten]. So if you are on the west coast, no worries: you will still make it in time for America's Next Top Model and Stylista. The BlogTalkRadio show is less than an hour!
