ENTER TO WIN a Toola Accessory That Will Protect Your Tech and Give You a Peace of Mind!

(Add some peace to your life with the help of Toola!)

"WHERE. Is. My. Phone??!?!?"

Yup - it's what most women exclaim day in and day out. And usually there is this overwhelming feeling of stress that develops while hunting through the same oversized purse or pile of clothes. Whether that stress developed out of the fear that you've actually lost your phone or out of annoyance because your lengthy to-do list can only be accomplished with the use of your phone -- it's no fun dealing with the frustration that could potentially ruin your day.

So, when I came across this Toola fashion accessory, one of my first thoughts was: "Wow...even if I were to lose my phone in this case, at least that peace sign will give me a sense of calmness when I finally find it..." And in addition to the obvious benefits of a phone case -- providing protection should it drop or get too close to some unidentifiable liquid -- this particular style can serve a functional purpose. You'll be able to hang your phone right next to your purse! Let us also consider and respect the edginess of the black chain, as it will take nearly any outfit to a cooler level. Whether you wear it on your shoulder or wrapped around your wrist as you strut the catwalk (remember: the street is your personal runway!), it's all rock and roll.

That said, I'm sooooo happy that I'm able to give away one iPhone 6 Peace Phone Case ($48 value), an exclusive product of www.toolastyle.com!

ENTER TO WIN (Pick 1):

*Leave a comment that answers this question: How do you regain peace in your day if your stress level gets too crazy?

                                            OR

* Tweet this post and tag both @GoodGirlShops and @ToolaStyle!

Last day to enter: June 1st! Winner will be chosen at random. All entrants must be located in the U.S.

(Please Note: All phone case models by Toola are customized to a particular smartphone. To place your order, feel free to contact this LA-based company directly! Get your Toola Style on and shop now! )

Win a Pair of Jimmy Choo Heels! (No Joke!)

DoctorInsole, the first over-the-counter, corrective insole for people of all ages and lifestyles (at an affordable cost!), is giving away 2 PAIRS of Jimmy Choo shoes to a fan on Facebook or Twitter who is all about sharing the love! Cool kind of collabo, huh? When I heard about this contest, which starts today, I was like "Ummm...YES. I need to let my readers know about this!" I mean, really, it's all about happy feet. When your feet feel good, you smile. When your feet LOOK great in a pair of hot heels, you're definitely smiling. So a marriage between the two for a fun promo contest is pretty smart.

So my lovelies, there are 2 WAYS to enter to win a pair of Jimmy Choos:

 (1) Tell you friends to like DoctorInsole on Facebook (facebook/doctorinsole) and leave a comment in the comment section with who referred you! (Me: Elana, Good Girl Gone Shopping)

(2) Follow DoctorInsole on Twitter (twitter.com/doctorinsole) and tweet the following:  #Choos me for your #ChooX2 Contest @DoctorInsole! Referred by @GoodGirlShops. FRIENDS, Follow to win, tell them I sent you!"

And yeah, 'cause I'm an honest kind of girl (hence, "Good Girl Gone Shopping"), this contest could benefit me too! As a fashion blogger, I could win a pair of Jimmy Choo heels! Basically, one of the top referrals and one of THEIR top referrals will both win a pair! (So a little teamwork, folks!) CONTEST: BEGINS TODAY, OCTOBER 1 ---> NOVEMBER 15, 2013

Any question for moi, please leave a comment here or message me via my contact form. Good luck!!! xo

SCOJO New York: My New Ready-to-Wear Essentials (Enter to Win a Pair!)

(SCOJO New York "Walton Street" style)
I've been wearing (and loving!) my D&G specs for more than 5 years now. And while I plan to continue to sport my thick black, geek-chic frames, I am so excited to have new eyewear to flaunt.

The SCOJO New York website is definitely worth checking out. It's where I decided on the "Walton Street" style ($77). Among the wide and affordable (!) selection of  modern frame shapes and color combos, the Walton Street style immediately jumped out at me. The deep purple shade on the sides is fun and artistic, and the two-tone black and clear frames are interesting.

SCOJO New York glasses are actually a collection of reading eyewear. (Hardly strong enough for my blind eyes, I got my own prescription put in.) Was actually nice to not overspend on trendy glasses and have a pair to bring in with me to the optometrist's office. (Usually I buy designer wear there.) The Walton Street style is part of The Tribeca Collection, which is said to be "inspired by the legendary downtown district of New York City. The Tribeca collection reflects the hip style and witty character of this historic neighborhood bearing the same name. Utilizing the finest Italian acetates and metal components available today, Tribeca marries form and function with effortless grace."

In addition to its chic collections of eye wear (The Gels Collection is also worth checking out!), SCOJO New York also proudly contributes to society, which I have the utmost respect for. Since its inception in 2001, a portion of their profits have been donated to charitable organizations that provide eye care and eyewear to those in need of assistance at varying levels. From eye exams and glasses to optical care requiring more extensive medical treatment, Scojo New York is all about making personal connections while giving the gift of better eyesight. VERY cool.

If you would like a chance to win your own pair of Walton Street reading glasses, all you gotta do are two things:

1) Tweet about this article/contest mentioning me @GoodGirlShops

2) Leave a comment here with a link to your Twitter page.

Contest runs til the end of the month: Sunday, June 30th by 8 p.m., pacific time. There is no limit to how many times you tweet, but I will be looking for the most creative tweet. That is how I will determine the winner!

Good luck!!!

GIVEAWAY: Win TWO 'Cutey' Charm Bracelets!

So I was recently contacted by cutey, a new, European-based, jewelry company (founded in 2011). After introducing me to cutey, the lovely rep Ashley offered an exclusive giveaway for my Good Girl Gone Shopping readers. She didn't just offer one reader the chance to win one of their exclusive charm bracelets, she offered the winner the opportunity to win TWO charm bracelets. How generous! After I checked out the cutey site, I knew this was a match made in heaven. And here's why I'm sorta falling in love with this company:

- The charm bracelets definitely epitomize the name of the company, as each is unique and adorable. Shows they definitely know their product (and marketing!)

- Affordability factor!!! In USD, each bracelet is under 25 bucks ($20.99 to be exact).

- FREE DELIVERY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

- Their "About" section is thorough and really shows cutey's ethics and personality. (.i.e, Principles, Goals)

-  An easy-to-navigate site. Just as it is important for a store to be neat and tidy, an online boutique site should allow for enjoyable browsing and a no-hassle experience.

Below are the two cutey charm bracelets I specifically selected for the special winner (with a brief description as to why I chose each piece):
(The "Typhon" charm bracelet: The pefect, colorful, playful new accent for your Spring wardrobe!)

(The "Oizys" charm bracelet: Chic and sophisticated. Perfect for an evening out!)

Here are my rules for this giveaway. All you gotta do is:

(1) Follow me on Twitter
(2) Tweet about this contest, which must include a link to this article
(3) Leave a comment at the end of this post, linking to your Twitter page

I will choose the winner based on the most creative tweet, which I will retweet on Monday, March 5, 2012.

*Contest is open to everyone throughout the world, and you can tweet about the contest as often as you'd like. However, just leave one comment at the end of this post with a link to your Twitter page. Note: Just because these charm bracelets are designed for women, you don't have to be a woman to win! (You may have a girlfriend, wife, sister, mama, or BFF who loves charm bracelets! What a perfect opportunity to get them a gift without spending a dime.)

GOOD LUCK lovelies!

The Winner of the Chloe Red Necklace Goes To...

Tina Renee Barker!

A few weeks ago, I provided the opportunity to win a fabulous Chloe Red necklace -- either the "Bridgette" or the "Bernie." I appreciate all who entered! This giveaway was my way of saying thank you for being a reader and (I'm sure you are) a wonderful person.

The winner, Tina, who was randomly chosen by Random.org, chose the Bridgette necklace to complement her style and add to her collection of accessories. What a great choice! Classic and feminine, I love this piece.

Tina recently told me: "I try to stay current with the trends. Even though I'm 45, I love reading about the latest and greatest finds, and Good Girl Gone Shopping provides this!"

This is why I do what I do as a fashion blogger -- to help women discover their inner style maven through informative articles, contests/giveaways, interviews, tips, and my personal narratives.

Thank you again, and...enjoy Tina! xo

Win a Chloe Red Necklace!

 ("Bridgette")

                                                                        ("Bernie")

You may have just finished reading my Ode to Accessories article -- one of the most recent blog posts about accessories, and how they can dramatically or subtly enhance an individual's look. So this is an extension of that, bringing you the chance to win an amazing Chloe Red necklace. Melissa, the Los Angeles-based designer and owner of Chloe Red, was generous enough to offer a lucky Good Girl Gone Shopping reader one of two necklaces from her collection (as sold on etsy). I was able to choose two pieces that I thought might interest you. Pictured above, the "Bridgette" has a classic feel and the "Bernie" has an ecclectic feel. You all have different personalities, so I'm sure there is one that you connect to more than the other. So, in this giveaway, yup -- I am giving you the option to choose your fave!

In order to win your Chleo Red necklace of choice:

(1) Comment and explain which necklace is your favorite, and why it attracts you.
(2) You must be a member of my Good Girl Gone Shopping Facebook group. To become a member, just click the "like" button on the right side of this blog or visit the page directly, by clicking here. Please say that you are a member within your comment.

*Contest closes next Sunday, the 16th, by 5 p.m. pac time. Winner will be chosen randomly, using Random.org. Open to U.S. residents only.

Some info about the designer: After meeting Melissa via Facebook -- THE social networking site that has given me the chance to meet and get to know amazing talents -- I soon learned about her work in the fashion industry. Her extensive background proves that she knows more than a thing or two about defining one's personal style through fashion and accessories. She has worked at Cosmpolitan Magazine and Jezebel Magazine as well as Saks Fifth Avenue and Fred Segal. Having designed jewelry for New York stores, celebs, and her own personal clients, Melissa is also knowledgeable about the wholesale side of the industry; she has sold to such stores as: Intermix, ShopBop.com, Kitson, and Neiman Marcus.

After 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, Chloe Red was born. And I'm thinking that her decision to rise above and start making trendy jewelry for fashionistas everywhere was the right one. Her story may not only inspire you to follow your own path; it gives you some insight to the brain behind such a fabulous line. Don't you just love learning about the background of a designer? I know, I do. (Oh, and get this: She is also a personal stylist and fellow personal shopper. Check out her website -- chloe-red.com. It is beautiful and quite something!)

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Congrats to the Winner of "The Allegra Biscotti Collection"

Thank you to those who entered to win the delightful book about a young fashionista finding her way in life -- "The Allegra Biscotti Collection" by Olivia Bennet. I asked for contestants to share their favorite junior high outfit (as relevant to the story -- the character is an 8th grader), in order to qualify.

And randomly, I chose Leeann Morrissey -- the innovative Los Angeles blogger behind Join the Gossip. She couldn't live without her wide-legged, Gwen Stefani-inspired (circa '90s) pants and rainbow attire. Fun!

So thank you again to all who entered, and I hope that you continue to enter contests right here, on Good Girl Gone Shopping! You most definitely have a chance to win. xoxo

Book Giveaway: The Allegra Biscotti Collection

First off: Please forgive me for letting so much time pass! My computer decided to finally say goodbye. So I am currently using my friend's computer until I get a new one. Thank heavens for good friends. He knows how important it is that I write and communicate with y'all.

So I'm back! And I'm back with a great giveaway. The Allegra Biscotti Collection by Olivia Bennet is a charming tween novel, which I am pleased to present to one lucky winner. It's all about a young fashionista -- an eighth grader -- who makes her own rules and breathes individualism. From wearing discount clothes to sketching on the subway, Emma Rose is anything but ordinary. I have always been about dressing to express who you are, and not what others think you should be -- the philosophy behind this book. Creative expression through fashion is important whether you are 13 or 30, and Bennet has created an exciting story that will bring you back to the hallways of junior high. It brought me back, for sure.

And that's all I'm gonna share with you about The Allegra Biscotti Collection -- not gonna give away too much. Why read it if I give you a play-by-play?

Comment if you're interested in getting your paws on a copy of this book, by answering this question: What was your favorite outfit to wear in junior high, that made you feel oh-so-special. An idea: You may have a teenage daughter, cousin, friend, or sister who would even appreciate this as a holiday gift...Try to win it for her! Contest closes next week, November 1st.

*This new book will be available for purchase mid-November.

365Hangers.com is Giving Away $25 Gift Cards to 2 Lucky Winners!

How did 365Hangers attract me, a personal shopper? Well, the sizing and pricing aspects really caught my attention. My most favorite, unique feature of this site is the fact that you can begin shopping by size versus shopping by product and then hoping, and crossing your fingers, that your size is available. So now is your chance to get your shop on! We are offering two lucky winners a $25 gift card each! Please note: There is no minimum purchase required. You can find items under $30, such as a French Connection top for only $26, and an INC dress for just $29.

GiVEAWAY: Win a Dress from ShabbyApple.com!

In collaborating with ShabbyApple.com for a fresh, new giveaway, I realize just how fantastic an opportunity this is for y'all! Now is your chance to win a dress, just in time for summer. Out of the several styles featured on ShabbyApple.com, this "Pretty in Pink" dress and black-and-white striped "La Tour Eiffel" dress stood out to me. Both gorgeous and completely unique from one another.

Pretty in Pink: The"whisper-soft tiers of stretch cotton" that descends from the empire waist looks to provide a relaxed and breezy style. I can see how this dress would breathe on a sweaty, groteque day when the sun beats down. This style can fit most shapes; however, it may make you appear a little fuller as it is way roomy. But this could be a good thing -- your bloated days could be covered up! This type of prairie look can also be perfect for a prego chica as it is roomy enough in just the right area. (Current available sizing: XXS --L)

La Tour Eiffel: Uptown fashionistas are most likely falling in love right about now. The top is made of a jersey knit and it's a cotton/spandex blend on the bottom (white side zipper). The A-shaped outline of the dress offers a subtle sense of sexiness. ShabbyApple.com compares this dress to the famous monument in France: "classic construction, fine materials, and unspoken style." There is no doubt that you will make a statement in such an artistic dress. (Current available sizing: XXS -- XL)

*See more pics featuring these women's dresses on ShabbyApple.com.

Now onto the giveaway rules:

(1) One entry per person

(2) Follow the ShabbyApple.com blog and say that you did by commenting here, while also telling me which of these dresses you like the best and why!

(3) You must live in the United States

Contest will runs through June 30th.

Good luck!

"I love the blue ruffle top! I would wear it with denim shorts, black boyfriend blazer, straw fedora, with a chunky necklace and some cute tan leather sandals with a wooden heel. :) Great summer look!"

The creative ensemble is a one-of-a-kind look, is weather-appropriate, and shows off her glam personality! So enjoy Nerrissa, as Marshalls offers a wide selection of fashion for less.

I talk budgeting, promote budgeting, and shop with budgeting on my brain. Total savings: $149.43!!!!

My three-hour shopping trip was definitely an adventure, considering Marshalls carries many one-of-a-kind pieces. Because I was in search of versatile clothing, shoes, and/or accessories, I took my time and shopped smart, predominantly browsing through sale and clearance racks. I hit two locations actually -- both the Upland La Verne, CA shops. If I had a list of exactly what I needed, I would have saved some time, yes, but this experience was about exploring and seeing all that Marshalls has to offer. And my goodness, there are FABULOUS items worth trying on. I tried on about 20 pieces before I decided that these four were good to go. Each being comfortable, versatile, and unique, they naturally fit into the style of my wardrobe.

And guess what? I am proud to open up a contest to you as well! Please comment here and let me know which of my items is your favorite and what you would wear with that piece. I will choose the winner based on who offers the most creative idea! The prize: a $50 Marshalls gift card so YOU can get your shop on!

My contest will run through March 16th, the same day that the "10 Best Finds" contest I am in ends. (You can vote for me every day if you'd like! Please spread the word to your friends!)

xoxoxo,

You Two Have Won 2 FREE Hours of Personal Shopping and Wardrobe Consulting!

Thanks to all who entered to win 2 FREE hours of personal shopping and wardrobe consulting. Because I know the value in this prize, I decided to choose two winners. They both showed their need for my assistance with great energy and honesty!

So congrats to Bryana, who said this:
"I REALLY need help! haha I don't have much of a variety of clothes and usually resort back to jeans and t-shirts. I'm looking to accessorize and add some flair to some outfits. Or just start fresh!"

...And congrats to Rachel Lisa (Los Angeles makeup artist), who said this:

"Oh boy, where do I start? First of all, I work in the fashion industry, but have no idea to dress myself. How a is that? Second of all, I have realized that you cannot dress the same way when you are 24 and a size 4 vs. 34 and a size-not-gonna-say. My wardrobe has been reduced to a basic daily uniform of a black tank top with leggings and boots. Once, I wore a white tank top and my friends freaked out. I'm pretty sure I could look and feel better about myself as I go through my weight loss process, and just look more professional in general. Like someone that people might actually want to hire to do their makeup! :(..."

More contests to come!

And the Winner Is....

GradSchoolMommy!

Thank you to all who entered the Perricone Md Advanced Eye Area Therapy contest. GradSchoolMommy posted an interesting comment regarding her experience with skin care treatments. Due to her interest in Perricone MD and her disappointment with other products, I decided that I'd love to treat this grad student and mom.

To win, I asked readers to leave their thoughts on the importance of good skincare and mention of lines that didn't work for them previously. Here was GradSchoolMommy's comment:

"I really do consider skin care an investment and have spent a pretty penny on different lines over the years. I try not to cobble together my skin care regime, as I do believe that you have to use complimentary products to get the best from a line. I've tried everything from La Mer to Lancome, but they didn't resonate with me past a year or so. The brand I have found the most success with is Clarins. However, I've heard rave reviews about Perricone MD products -- and I'm overdue to give their line a shot. I'd love to try this Eye Area Therapy out and see how it works! Although I'm a grad student, I'm also a mom and 40 years old... so I could really use all the help I can get. :) Thanks for a great opportunity to give this line a try."

More contests to come! Thanks again.

"Peace, love, and cute shoes!"
