I will be turning 29 years old in a week, and although that is considerably young, I have already begun seeking wrinkles and lines forming around my eyes. Noooooo...! Considering that aging and the annoying signs thereof are inevitable, I'm guessing that many of you can relate to this.
That said, I am proud to open up a beauty contest. As an Inland Empire and Los Angeles personal shopper, I preach more than just shopping on a budget; I am a firm believer that when you look great, you feel fabulous. In addition to wearing your favorite colors, finding the right fit, and making a trendy statement, your beauty regimen will also benefit your total image.
Here is the deal: Perricone MD (from Dr. Perricone) will be giving one lucky Good Girl Gone Shopping reader the advanced Advanced Eye Area Therapy. Featured on Oprah, as well as in Vanity Fair and Glamour, this product ($95 value) is designed to "minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness, while diminishing dark circles with Vitamin C Ester."
Here are the rules on how to enter:
(1) You must be a U.S. resident
(2) You must leave a comment that discusses the importance of good skincare (Feel free to share other lines that you may have tried but just didn't provide you with the results you wanted!)
(3) You must enter by November 30th, before 5 p.m. pacific time
Good luck! I will choose the winner based on your explanation.

What a great contest! My mom is always complaining of eye wrinkles and spending money on products that don't seem to work--I am sure she'd love to try this product!
I really do consider skin care an investment and have spent a pretty penny on different lines over the years. I try not to cobble together my skin care regime, as I do believe that you have to use complimentary products to get the best from a line. I've tried everything from La Mer to Lancome, but they didn't resonate with me past a year or so. The brand I have found the most success with is Clarins. However, I've heard rave reviews about Perricone MD products -- and I'm overdue to give their line a shot. I'd love to try this Eye Area Therapy out and see how it works! Although I'm a grad student, I'm also a mom and 40 years old... so I could really use all the help I can get. :) Thanks for a great opportunity to give this line a try.
I will spend my last cent on good skin care. I think that it's possible to skimp on certain items like cleanser, but when you get to be my age, (52) treatments are of utmost importance. I have been using eye cream diligently since I turned 40. I also believe in the ACE vitamins for skin. I use all of those in one way or another daily. And number one for all women when it comes to anti-aging, is an SPF everyday!
Thanks to everyone who entered! Congrats to Grad School Mommy! Please contact me at elana@talkingchic.com and send me your address. I will get this sent out to you right away ;-)
I'm so so so excited, Elana! Thank you so very much!! This is going to be a jump start into my investment into Periconne products -- and I just really want to thank you. :)
