SCOJO New York: My New Ready-to-Wear Essentials (Enter to Win a Pair!)

I've been wearing (and loving!) my D&G specs for more than 5 years now. And while I plan to continue to sport my thick black, geek-chic frames, I am so excited to have new eyewear to flaunt.

The SCOJO New York website is definitely worth checking out. It's where I decided on the "Walton Street" style ($77). Among the wide and affordable (!) selection of  modern frame shapes and color combos, the Walton Street style immediately jumped out at me. The deep purple shade on the sides is fun and artistic, and the two-tone black and clear frames are interesting.

SCOJO New York glasses are actually a collection of reading eyewear. (Hardly strong enough for my blind eyes, I got my own prescription put in.) Was actually nice to not overspend on trendy glasses and have a pair to bring in with me to the optometrist's office. (Usually I buy designer wear there.) The Walton Street style is part of The Tribeca Collection, which is said to be "inspired by the legendary downtown district of New York City. The Tribeca collection reflects the hip style and witty character of this historic neighborhood bearing the same name. Utilizing the finest Italian acetates and metal components available today, Tribeca marries form and function with effortless grace."

In addition to its chic collections of eye wear (The Gels Collection is also worth checking out!), SCOJO New York also proudly contributes to society, which I have the utmost respect for. Since its inception in 2001, a portion of their profits have been donated to charitable organizations that provide eye care and eyewear to those in need of assistance at varying levels. From eye exams and glasses to optical care requiring more extensive medical treatment, Scojo New York is all about making personal connections while giving the gift of better eyesight. VERY cool.
