Me and Bry -- my new roomie! |
Happy Monday night everyone! It's the start of a new week, and I hope you are all keeping your eye on the prize and steadily working towards meeting your goals. If so, great! I'm right there with you.
Sometimes you need to catch your breath before continuing on your path. And that's what I have been doing for the last...OK, well, like two months. While I believe that slowing down here and there is natural and inevitable at times -- full on stopping is a no-no for me. So while I may have held out on you here, my Good Girl Gone Shopping blog, I remained active as a writer and fashion professional. So to keep you up to speed with where my head has been recently, here you are:
(1) "Fashionably Rising Above a Rough Time" -- The May "Talking Chic" column in Agenda Magazine. An article that candidly gives insight to my recent life-altering experience, and how I am surviving it.
(2) Ask Style: Got Any Advice on How to Avoid Splurging? -- A Q&A featuring me as a fashion and shopping expert responding to a reader's question. (MyStyle.com is the Style network's official website)
(3) "Alumna Makes it in Fashion Industry" -- A CSUF newspaper article about my career growth. As a former Daily Titan reporter, I jumped with joy when I was contacted about this opportunity!
I would love your feedback/response on any of these articles. Feel free to comment as you wish! xo
